Curriculum

Students enrolled in STMA Online courses in grades 7-12 use an online curriculum called Edmentum Courseware. STMA staff go through the courses to ensure the curriculum aligns with state and STMA standards. Students enrolled in STMA Online in grades K-6 will be utilizing the research-based PLUS framework with Calvert Learning which actively engages students in project-based learning that allows them to demonstrate mastery and apply what they have learned to real-world situations. Parents will have a role in their student education along with a licensed STMA Teacher. 

STMA Online

STMA Online is a state-approved learning opportunity for all students in the State of Minnesota. STMA Online offers the courses listed below. Click on a grade level and the course name to get additional information, such as the term each course is offered.

Course Planning

Please use the Course Planning sheets below to determine course workload for each year. When planning, please be advised that students may only be eligible for grade-level classes. Guidance Counselors are available for assistance and questions or view the STMA Registration Book for more information.
